Broughty Ferry continued to light up in support of the NHS and frontline key workers last night as the Avian’s church premises on Brook Street turned blue alongside our resident Oor Wullie.
The Broughty Ferry community has fully embraced the weekly 8pm clap with both the Royal Tay Yacht Club and Broughty Ferry Lightboat Station being turned blue in the past two weeks. This week we showed our support by lighting up in blue and moving the resident Oor Wullie, normally found keeping a watchful eye in the reception of the church, into the grounds where he could be seen by passers by.
Scott McCallum, Managing Director, Avian, said:
“We are proud to be part of the Broughty Ferry community and along with the rest of the residents and businesses in the area we wanted to continue to show our appreciation for everything the NHS and frontline key workers are doing for us all.”
